The Global Conference in MicroInsurance (GCMI)

Pioneering the Future of Inclusive Insurance
The Microinsurance sector has witnessed remarkable growth in recent years, driven by technological innovations expanding market coverage. Yet, millions still lack adequate protection, particularly those at the bottom of the socioeconomic pyramid. Climate change further amplifies these vulnerabilities. With the global middle class projected to expand dramatically, billions remain outside the safety net of insurance, risking a plunge into poverty. To elevate Microinsurance to the forefront, Microinsurance Innovation Hub and Kearney are collaborating with esteemed partners including IIRM, ILO, UNDP, A M Best, Micro Insurance Network, and both Indian and International insurance entities to host the inaugural Global Conference on Microinsurance in India.

The Regional Conference of Microinsurance (RCMI)

The Regional Conference of Microinsurance (RCMI) focuses on key business aspects of microinsurance, organized around five core areas, each led by a dedicated Business Practice Group (BPG) operating from a distinct regional zone. Each BPG specializes in an assigned business area, contributing its insights and expertise. Studies, projects, theses, and data analytics from these groups integrate into the annual landscape study conducted by the Global Conference of Microinsurance (GCMI), providing a comprehensive overview of the microinsurance sector.
